Urgent Notice
Iberia would like to inform its clients that Spanish Authorities have decided to remove temporarily Madrid-Barajas Airpor from the Schengen Group.
Therefore from May 28th to June 4th, 23:00 p.m., during the meeting of the NATO Ministers in Madrid and for security reasons, all passengers coming from any European Union country must hold FULL TRAVEL DOCUMENTS (PASSPORTS OR ID�s) (THE SCHENGEN COUNTRIES AFFECTED ARE GERMANY, AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, DENMARK, FINLAND, FRANCE, GREECE, ITALY, LUXEMBURG, THE NETHERLANDS, NORWAY, PORTUGAL, AND SWEDEN). Otherwise they will not be permitted on board.
We would like to remind all those passengers that depart from Madrid to a Schengen destination to travel with full documents for their return to Madrid - Barajas.
