Well the house was not much of a house really, more of a tiny cottage, and very old & very run down, and belonged to a farmer that my friend worked for in the late seventies, and the farmer just simply wanted to get rid of it because it was un-saleable, and so he gave it to him.

My friend did not want to spend any more money on it, and just wanted to knock it down and build a new one, which he did, particularly after finding it had roaches.

Timely topic,since its starting to heat up here and the war with pests begins,but you cant win,just divert em temporarily

-for ants, there is a sweet sticky glue that attracts them to one area,its expensive,developed by some scientist

-for roaches-get the roach powder,that has borax in it
