Hey Juliette, hope you feel better soon. What you have on the lip is a "calentura" in Spanish. I am not sure of the medication for that but if you go into a pharmacy and tell them you need "algo para las calenturas de labio", they will be able to help. Saludos, jer...

Hola everyone, now this is a subject I am really familiar with, having been a sufferer for decades...ha ha. I have found that you are able to buy in the farmacia a really good medication for these dreaded outbreaks, it's called "ZOVIRAX". It comes in a tiny tube and is by far the best treatment, pricey, but it certainly works. I never go anywhere without it. The last tube I bought was in Madrid, last year. Hope this helps.

Wow, I know Zovirax! Didn't expect it'd be over here too. Cool. too bad it's Sunday. Thanks for the well-wishes everyone. I actually love that Frenadol, clears my head nicely, and think I'm on the mend. Thanks so much for all the advice.

Cold sore �CURE�!!! I used to get cold sores almost monthly � another joy of PMS Week for me � until I found out about the following treatment: L-lysine supplement (an amino acid), 1000 mg daily, as preventative treatment.
