I'm always seeing people pulled over by Guardia Civil, having their breath tested. Night and day.

Does anyone know what the legal limit is in Spain? What happens if you're convicted? Do they have to go to group therapy and driving school like they do in The Land of the Free?

Not sure about drunk driving but...

A friend of ours got pulled over with something worse than alcohol in his car (but not in him, fortunately), and he called us after their search, and we were like, ok, where do we go to bail you out and how much will it be?

He said, "What are you talking about, they're gone. I'm on my way to your place." eeker

He got slapped with a nasty fine and nothing more. Believe me, it woulda been straight to jail in the Land of the Free.
