Hey marcela, while flying to La Coru�a from Madrid is fast (1hr 10 min.), economical benefits compared to the car rental will depend upon how many of you are travelling.
I checked
www.iberia.com and got a whopping 250� one way per ticket in April
Was also looking at
www.spanair.com since they supposedly have 30� each way flight specials now. Unfortunatley, they do not seem to fly to La Coru�a and the closest they can get you is Vigo.
I would go with the car rental.
Check out
www.guiacampsa.es for routes and times. They are usually pretty acurate with their
TRIP PLANNER.
If you have not been, you will want to stop in Santiago de Compostels of course
You can even set the
TRIP PLANNER to calcualte a route through Santiago de Compostela.
