Reviving an ancient thread (so as not to get castigated by the big kahuna...).

I know there are probably other mm-ers who are checking out airfares right now...

We're planning a trip from Madrid back to the states in late June and are looking for tickets into any east coast city (DC, Philly, NY, Newark, Miami...).

The pickings are looking a bit slim--no sales so far--with the best deal being SpanAir into Philly around $550 (which really isn't bad, but the dates are a bit whacky).

Has anyone run across any promising fares? I thought we could share info here in the hopes of getting a good deal...

We ended up buying a ticket through Spanair from Madrid to Philly for around $500 each in late June/July. So far there haven't been any fare sales for summer--and since those dates are always hard to get a good deal on--we just went ahead and bought them...
