sorry if this post doesn't belong here, but kilroy has good offers, it's flexible and it gets you anywhere
Antti, I moved this here since the thread tonytorero started HERE should only be for posting on specific super deals that people find out there to let the rest of us know.

I just got RT $380 from Boise ID to Madrid. That is about 1/2 price from what I paid for it 2 years ago at the same time of year. Go to www.travelocity.com and check it out. Low fares just got released 3 days ago but many are filled up now I found.

Singapore Airlines is apparently trying to recoup some of the damage done by SARS by publicizing their trans-atlantic routes with the discount fares, or so I've read.

Incidentally, Iberia's web site is promoting some round trip fares to Amsterdam from 79 Euros. Soooo....if you could get the cheap Singapore air r/t to Amsterdam, AND get the cheap fare on Iberia to MAD/BCN, you'd be one lucky person.

another flight deal, this one from British airways. Offer ends June 12. A number of U.S. cities are shown to London and other parts of Europe, just search and see, rates start at $259.00 http://207.68.162.250/cgi-bin/linkrd?_lang=EN&lah=f98ecc3793340e5131260b61b3c25d61&lat=1054765267&hm___action=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2etravelzoo%2ecom%2fTop20%2easp%3fid%3d101104889 maybe you can catch a cheap flight from there to Madrid.

sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but the british airways 'sale' fares are pretty much the same as they were before the sale for these months Frowner

Also, the sale fare is ONLY available online- if you call in to make the reservation, its going to be MORE expensive! [Embarassed]

I found Iberia/Continental has the cheapest prices right now for travel to Spain in Sept. however I am still waiting a couple more weeks, because I think the fares may go down more.

British Airways keeps advertising "SALE" but there isn't any sale!! In addition BA has the least amount of leg room (17") of any airline.. so they are on the bottom of my list for a 10 hour flight!!

Hey ToniG, as Shawn (Redwood) will confirm, the waiting to get your ticket can often backfire and prices go up instead of down Razzer Frowner

Don't wait too long!!!

Jer is telling you the truth. I didn't go to Spain last December because I waited too late and the ticket price went up and the dates that I wanted were booked. I jumped on a price that was right for me this time and I made it happen.

It can backfire big time the constant waiting for a price to go down. If you see a price that you like and can afford, GO FOR IT!!!

If you find out that the price went down after you bought it, don't even let it bother you. You know that you got your ticket and are on your way to your chosen destination.
