"What's another word for Thesaurus?
Steven Wright"
Posted
Hi,

Before our trip to Spain in 2001, I found out that www.tourspain.es had downloadable city maps of Spanish cities in PDF format. Well, they have changed their website, and have the "callejero" type maps that are more useful in finding an exact address, but less useful if you are looking for the overall layout of a city.

I'd consider it very selfish of me if I did not share the maps I (fortunately) downloaded with you. I think these maps are part of a Michelin guide, but since they were publicly available for download two years ago, I can't see any reason that I couldn't legally post them for use by everyone. Smiler

They are in the Yahoo Groups Jermadrid group under files\city maps. Here's the URL:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jermadrid/files/City%20Maps/

The maps are for the cities of:
Burgos
Cordoba
Jerez de la Frontera
Sevilla
Teruel
Toledo
Valladolid
Zaragoza

Before you ask, I do have a few maps of Madrid, and will post them a little later today. It's a shame these maps are no longer publicly available. Frowner I only wish I had downloaded more of them when I had the chance!

OK, I added the Madrid files, there are five of them. The notes show the approximate N/S/E/W boundaries, as identified by metro station, neighborhood, or landmark. The number=filename in the madrid5 notes identifies which map to open according to the boundaries shown on the map.
