Well, one cheap option would be to take a bus. The ride from Madrid to Sevilla is usually 5-6 hours, but they do have some over night sort of buses. So, you could save yourself the cost of alojamiento and just take the bus over night, and get to sevilla really early in the morning. I know people who did this kind of think all the time when I lived in sevilla. There are a lot of bus services, and I can't remember all the names, so you might have to look them up, unless someone else knows this info. I believe its pretty cheap too. Don't know if this helps, but it may be an option.

The amusing answer would be to follow all the other Celtic supporters. And good luck for the game ! On MULTIMADRID main info pages, there is a section on TRANSPORT from Madrid. The bus company running a regular route is named as SECORBUS. The Madrid - Seville timetable is http://www.socibus.es/madrid-sevilla.htm
The UEFA cup is being handed over to the Seville authorities tomorrow (Tuesday) in preparation for it to be handed over to the Celtic team on the 21st.

Hey MrMac, so, what time do you want to arrive in Sevilla???

Letting us know would help us to help you Big Grin

The last trains are indeed 10:00pm. First in the morning 7:00am gets you in to Sevilla by 9:25am on the 21st.

If that is not early enough for you, you will have to take the last bus (see Nige's great info above) at 1:00 am (01:00) which gets you to Sevilla at 7:00am the next day.

The bus ride is a bit of a "paliza" (beating) on the back but it is CHEEEEEAAAAAAPPPOOOOOOO!!! 24,64 Euros gets you there and back (I/V = Ida y Vuelta) from Madrid Cool

You have many options, it all depends on what time you need to be in Sevilla by.

Saludos,
jer...

Hey MrMac, glad we could help.

As far as I know, you can not book those bus tickets online but you can call them on 902 22 92 92 and reserve on the phone.

Which brings up a good question... can one dial a Spanish "902..." number from abroad?

If you can, I guess it would be (+34) 902 22 92 92.

Odds are they will not speak English however, not sure how good your Spanish is.

If you find yourself in a jam and really need to get the bus tickets ahead of time, a wacky webmaster around here has been known to do these types of things for a modest "donation" to the multimadrid cause Wink
