I have a 100CC scooter in the UK and would like to bring it out to Spain. I have a Full driving licence and have taken a CBT in the UK. Do I need a full motorcycle licence to drive it over here? Does anyone know of an insurance company that wouldinsure a scooter with english plates over in Spain?. Thanks.

Hey Steve, hope someone else chimes in here since I know very little about scooters/motorcycles in Spain except that there are a ton of them.

I can answer your main question though.

Yes, any "bike" over 50CC requires a motorcycle license here.

To insure the scooter, I am pretty sure you will need to have it "matriculado" (registered) here in Spain as well.
