Hi all,

I'm looking at heading back to the US in the beginning of April and am looking for a cheap one way ticket (or cheap round trip, if that's easier) to the East Coast, preferably Miami, so I can indulge in a road trip back to SF.

I've heard that Council Travel, which offers students great prices on flights, also offers teachers similar deals.

Sooooo.... does anyone have info on this? And, where the Council Travel might be in Madrid? I checked the web and came up with nada. Smiler

Thanks!

Mike

hey Mikey, as much as we do not want you to leave, i feel that i must post to help you anyway Wink

as far as i know, there is no "council travel" office in madrid but they are represented here by a few other travel agencies. as you know, council travel is part of a bigger group called "sta travel" so if you go to the sta travel website you can work your way to find their affiliate travel agencies in spain.

see www.statravelgroup.com/where/branches.asp?Country=Spain for the sta travel partners available in madrid...

quote:
STA Travel Partners represent some of STA Travels products and services and are designed to meet the specific needs of students and young travellers.
also try TIVE in moncloa, see the thread HERE for details.

to kill 2 birds with one stone, i would suggest you go to the sta travel partner listed...

Barcelo Viajes
Fernando El Catolico 77
Madrid 28015
Spain

... at http://www.statravelgroup.com/where/branches.asp?Country=Spain and then over to TIVE at...

TIVE
C/ Fernando el Catlico, 88
28015 MADRID
Tel. 91 543 74 12
Fax: 91 544 00 62
Horario: Lunes a viernes de 9 a 14 horas.

... as the 2 places are just about across the street from each other Cool

go in the morning since TIVE is only open 9am to 2pm.

saludos,
jer...
