Hey Sue, great heads up on that guide. Yes, "Campsa" stands for "Cia" "Arrendataria" del "Monopolio" de "Petroleos" "S.A" which more or less means "Monopolistic Gas Company" as you guessed. Now owned by Repsol-YPF ( www.repsol-ypf.com) , they use the name recognition for those guides that are truly cool . They put the "Campsa" name on the web as well as the printed guide book sold here in Spain because MANY of the gas stations here are "Campsa" stations so I have a feeling that the name recognition works well for them. Thanks for the web tip and I will now refrain from further boooooring you with the "gasssy" history of Spain Saludos, jer...
