Spanish officials, according to abc.es today, have announced that there will be an AVE route from Madrid to Lisbon in the near future! That's great for travelers who want to "do" the whole penninsula, and hate the current train, that seems to take forever! The route will go through Talavera de la Reina, C�ceres, and Badajos. As yet, it is uncertain what route it will take through Portugal. Kudos para Espa�a!
