I'm planning on renting a car to do some travelling but I don't know how to drive stick. I've only done it in video games.
I was wondering if anyone with a manual transmission car would be willing to give me a 1hr lesson. I'd be willing to pay of course. Does 15 euros sound fair?

Don't have any experience with them, and I'm afraid I don't have exact addresses, but there are a number of driving schools on Manuela Malasaa, close to the Fuencarral side, metro Bilbao.

munkee: I drive a "stick," my 17-year-old son does not; like you, he's done it on video games. And the first time he had to drive my car (in an emergency) the skill transferred beautifully! He's not had much trouble since, except for stopping on the occasional hill.
I'd suggest renting a low-price stick-shift car for a weekend and just driving that around -- lots of tourists are surprised when they sit down in their airport rental and it's a stick, and they grind away till they get it. This way you can choose your own practice situations: stopping/starting on hills, etc., in a place where you can back off the road till it's safe, etc. (and DON'T wear your big boots!)
I am sure you will do much better than any tourist would. Those video games really are worth SOME things!
