I am US citizen currently living in Spain without a visa. (I´m here as a tourist but, plan to stay for a year.) In other words, I don´t have an NIE number and getting one is not possible. Therefore buying a car and registering it is impossible. I am now thinking of buying a car in Europe for export to the US that I will drive while am here and will ship next January. I have done this in the past. Does anyone know if it is still possible and where could I find a place that does this? (anywhere in Europe)

hi...if you are talking a new car, why don't you check expatica spain volvo always advertises there as experts in expat car need. they must know something. though maybe you'll have to act like you will buy from them.
