hi edel. how many of you are travelling? what size tent is it? (1 man, 2 man?) do you enjoy camping? if it can sleep at least 2 peeps and only weights 2 kilos, i can't think of any reason not to bring it. it is a good option (camping) in case hostels are full up and/or too expensive. just my opinion. saludos, jer...

hey edel. not sure why i am the only one advising here  but i had a tent with me when i was backpacking around spain and portugal for nearly 3 months. this was over 8 yrs. ago and tent tecnology was NOT where it is today, my tent weighed WELL over 2 kilos but as i was a poor grad student, it was a must have as it saved me and my ex money. also got us out of a few binds as we were travelling in peak tourist season and some hostels (at least the cheap ones) were full up. saludos, jer...
