Hmmmm.... the other day was the first time I had really noticed that aside from the traditional covered bus stops here in Madrid (the ones with the benches and all), some bus stops are just posts withthe bus #s & route info on them.
I was told that these types of stops are used either at the end or near end of a bus line and/or if there is no room on the sidewalk for a normal covered bus stop.
