From Barajas to Chamart�n I would get either an
AEROCITY SHUTTLE (if they do that Barajas - Chamart�n trip) or a cab (don't tkae any crap and if he tries to rip ya off, tell him jer is gonna get him

Since the Metro line (#10) is shut down from August 3rd until the beginning of October 2002,
take the FREE bus (denominated "SE" for "Servicio Especial", "Special Service") from the Chamart�n train station to Plaza Castilla. Then get the Metro line #1 (light blue) to Puerta del Sol. Exit the Metro in Sol via the "C/ Mayor" exit and you will come out facing the "Mallorquina Pastry shop"

Head down Calle Mayor walking about 10 minutes and you will come to the "Mercado de San Miguel" on your left in a Plaza (Plaza de San Miguel). Turn left and head down the street called Cava de San Miguel, that's my street

We can chill here a bit, you can recuperate from the 8th floor walk up
