Can any of you give me the names of some Spanish/European cheap-ticket-finding websites? A la cheaptickets.com, expedia.com, travelocity.com... I can only assume there are Spanish/Euro versions of these, or similar.
(Looking for a cheap flight between Madrid and Valencia for visiting family.)
A while back www.despegar.com and www.viajar.com carried out major publicity campaigns to get everyone in Spain to visit them but I have never used them.
Whenever I fly within Spai I do one of 2 things:
I go personally to the 2 best travel agencies in Madrid...
a) Viajes Zeppelin ( www.v-zeppelin.es ). In the Plaza de Santo Domingo (Metro line 2).
b) USIT Unlimited ( www.usitunlimited.es ). In the Plaza de Callao (Metro lines 3 and 5).
... as they have THE best prices (especially for students and youths). If you do not have an under 26 youth card or an ISIC student card ( www.isic.org ) you can get one there, it will save you even more
2) I go directly to the major Spanish airline sites an look for the offers.
See also www.kilroytravels.com it's for students and young people (max 28y or something) Kilroy has great offers and flexible service. No, I don't work for them, but I've used their services few times and so far Kirloy is the best one I've found... They have an offices all around the word, even in Madrid
