Looks like a big circular, with an interchange with Line 10 at Los Castillos, as well as interchanges to the C-4 and C-5 Cercanas trains in places like Getafe Fuenlabrada, Mostoles, Alcorcon, etc.

What Paul said is correct. It also goes through the significant municipality of Legans. It looks pretty cool and will no doubt help get people closer by 'my neck of the woods' as I live out this direction.

It's kind of a bummer that it doesn't connect with Villaviciosa de Odn. We're smaller than Mstoles and Alcorcn, but still a good sized community (pushing 20,000 more or less).

It is a circular line Jenny, but it's 'circle' runs outside of the Metro system itself and only services the Southwestern region of Madrid, but as jer said, it effects a pretty big part of the city's population (about a million...)

It should be a pretty good thing in the long run though.

Jer,

I really do have to agree with you that the METRO keeps surprising us. I can't wait to see what the next project will be. You know that they also have something else in the works.

I love public transportation in Madrid. It is the BEST.

HI ALL,

I am glad that it did open on time. I can't wait to ride it and see the HUSTLE and BUSTLE of Getafe, with its glowing nightlife.
