hey Chiqui. best time is as soon as they have them up for the dates you want. you have to keep checking every few days (if not every day) if they are not up yet as they do not warn before putting them up and the cheapest flights go FAST. as you probably saw, when you look for end of may tix right now, it says they are not yet available and to check back in a few days. a great marketing trick to get people to come back often to their website. right now (jan. 4th), there are only tix available for the mad-bcn route for dates on or before march 25th. as for a ballpark figure, no idea really since the cost varies so much. a flight mad-bcn could cost as little as 10 euros and as much as 200 depending. right now for flights before march 25th there are 10 euro seats available. saludos, jer...
