hey gang, well, this is the new board. will need a test drive and there are sure to be bugs to work out but it is a great piece of software.

hey Mike, no probs on the mail, sorry i was so short with my response but i got hundreds in the 3 weeks we were down
good to see people concerned but i was kinda sick of getting the mails, as if i was notthe first ot know about the problems. guess it makes sense, better safe than sorry.
i was quite grouchy these past 3 weeks (dbs - "downed board syndrome" so sorry if i was short or sarcastic with anyone who wrote.

The new board is good so far, and any board is better than no board right now.
I'm back in my appartment in London (have been for the last 2 weeks) hospital appointments,seeing doctors etc, so I was getting a little fed-up just reading the Noticias on ABC.es & Yahoo.es.
I see from the weather reports in Madrid has been much better than here in London, here it has been filthy ColD & wet, wet, wet, damp, damp, damp.
Oh well, like Arnold Sshwartzenegger says in the movie......."I'll be back"

It's going to be alright ....... these things happen. It just goes to show that computers are reliable but humans (Easyspace engineers who switch servers with out warning) are plain unreliable.

the responses here are awesome, so many peeps chimin in and i have not even sent the e-mail to all 2,500+ members yet telling them about the restored board.

Jer--the new board looks great. Love the new notification options on threads.
It was brilliant to do the change after the board has been down (a hex on Easyspace)--those among us who are hardcore and tend to fear change will adapt quickly, because we desperately need a mm fix (can we still call this mm?).
One little thing--those who have a popup blocker will need to disable it when you click the reply button, because it opens a new window.
